Located in The Avenues Food World, Pizza Rustica is for those who are passionate about their pizza. The first restaurant of its kind in Kuwait, Pizza Rustica specializes in traditional Italian pizza made with authentic ingredients imported from Italy. Light, crisp, flavorful pizza crust is made with stone-ground flour and a secret recipe passed from generation to generation. Combined with the freshest of natural ingredients from Italy – extra virgin olive oil, the finest tomatoes, artisan-made mozzarella and parmesan cheeses – this is pizza that epitomizes “La Dolce Vita” (the art of living so dear to Italians) in every delicious bite. Heading the Pizza Rustica team is Italian Master Chef Matteo Latorre, who is dedicated to making pizzas, in all their variations, into works of art. No detail is too small for consideration: the artful combining of colors, flavors and textures; the freshest ingredients, selected at their peak from the best products Italy has to offer; a concern for nutritional values in all of the menu items. Seafood lovers will relish the Marinara Pizza, with mozzarella, mussels, calamari, crab and prawns. The vegetarian will be at home here, with selections such as the Quattro Verdure, with roasted peppers, aubergine, courgette, spinach and – of course – mozzarella. There’s even Pizza Dolce for those with a sweet tooth, featuring a delicious sweet pizza crust stuffed with chocolate, banana and caramelized apples.
